NetworkingMembership in OCHEA provides you with opportunities to develop a statewide network of continuing education professionals to call upon for assistance in solving problems, identifying instructional materials and resources, and developing and implementing new programs and ideas. SIG (Special Interest Group) meetings at the conferences provide opportunities for members to exchange information and share common concerns. Meetings and ConferencesOCHEA members meet annually at different locations around the state for a major conference. Conference topics are selected by the Conference Program Committee, so the content is always fresh and relevant to your interests and challenges. Other one-day professional development meetings are held periodically. Membership DirectoryMembership in OCHEA entitles you to a copy of the Membership Directory which lists by institution and type of institution the Institutional, Associate, and Affiliate members of the Association, along with committee and special interest group memberships. OCHEA ListservThe OCHEA listserv provides an effective electronic means of communicating with the whole membership efficiently. Members may use the listserv to post announcements or questions. RecognitionOCHEA's Awards and Honors Committee each year recognizes the state's outstanding practitioners in continuing education. Awards for individual and institutional achievement and excellence in programming are presented at the Association's annual conferences.
